Our chemical pathologists analyse chemicals in our body fluids and tissues to help diagnose and manage disease. They play a unique dual role of doctor-scientist, looking at changes in human body chemistry for screening, diagnosis, prognosis and management.
Mark has worked for NSW for almost 40 yrs now in Pathology. Mark started at Blacktown Hospital in 1982 after graduating from University of NSW with a BSc (Hons) and has had the privilege to work at POW Hospital and Concord Hospital. After being on the team to implement the first Cerner Millennium system in Australia at Concord Mark then moved into ICT and helped implement the Millennium system at RPAH, Liverpool and Westmead where Mark has now been working for the last 20yrs.
