NSW Health Pathology is committed to delivering excellence in service and outcomes.
There are several ways in which you can ask questions or let us know how you feel about the services we provide.
Visit our Your Rights & Responsibilities.
Staff or managers at the collection centre or laboratory that delivered your service should be your first point of contact. Tell them about the matter, share a compliment or ask if they can help with an issue related to their service.
It is important to remember that our laboratories and collection centres located in NSW public hospitals are NSW Health Pathology services, and feedback about pathology services should be directed to us, not to the hospital or the local health district.
If you don’t feel comfortable discussing your concerns with the service area that provided your care, are not satisfied with a discussion you’ve already had, or want to share broader feedback or compliments, please use our feedback and complaints form.
You may wish to provide your feedback in writing to:

The Health Care Complaints Commission is independent of the NSW public health system. It receives and assesses complaints about health care practitioners and services. Anyone can lodge a complaint with the Commission.
The Commission will explain the process of making a complaint and provide assistance.
Complaints must be in writing and may be made about the professional conduct of a health service provider that affects the care and treatment of an individual.
