Meet our host

Liz Far­quhar is the host of Patho­log­i­cal­ly Speak­ing. Dur­ing her 27 years as a jour­nal­ist with the ABC, she’s spent a career talk­ing to fas­ci­nat­ing peo­ple, from Prime Min­is­ters and sport­ing greats to musi­cians and ordi­nary Aus­tralians doing extra­or­di­nary things.

After join­ing NSW Health Pathol­o­gy in 2022, Liz realised there were incred­i­ble sto­ries wait­ing to be told and launched the pod­cast to share them. Patho­log­i­cal­ly Speak­ing is all about show­cas­ing the peo­ple behind the sci­ence and help­ing lis­ten­ers dis­cov­er the work that makes NSW Health Pathol­o­gy Australia’s lead­ing and most trust­ed pathol­o­gy and foren­sic service.
