Sarad­ha Shan­mugam has had 9 years of work expe­ri­ence with NSW Health Pathol­o­gy, sup­port­ed by her foun­da­tions in work­ing in a diag­nos­tic lab­o­ra­to­ry for almost 25 years. Dur­ing this peri­od, she has spe­cialised in the fields of Chem­istry, Immunol­o­gy and Tox­i­col­o­gy. This has allowed her to share the knowl­edge she has gained through­out her career by offer­ing train­ing to junior staff mem­bers at work.

Cur­rent­ly she is respon­si­ble for the estab­lish­ment of quotes, con­tracts, set­ting up stud­ies in Lab­o­ra­to­ry Infor­ma­tion Sys­tem, and billing for pathol­o­gy ser­vices for research and clin­i­cal tri­als across the Liv­er­pool, Camp­bell­town, Bankstown, Fair­field and Bowral region.
As a hob­by, she enjoys mind­ful activ­i­ties such as gar­den­ing and mak­ing ran­go­lis as a cre­ative out­let to pri­ori­tise her men­tal health. For future endeav­ours, Sarad­ha is tak­ing a course to become a cer­ti­fied mind­ful­ness teacher in order to fos­ter a peace­ful work and home environment.
