Research Coordinator
She/Her. Darug and Tharawal People.Saradha Shanmugam has had 9 years of work experience with NSW Health Pathology, supported by her foundations in working in a diagnostic laboratory for almost 25 years. During this period, she has specialised in the fields of Chemistry, Immunology and Toxicology. This has allowed her to share the knowledge she has gained throughout her career by offering training to junior staff members at work.
Currently she is responsible for the establishment of quotes, contracts, setting up studies in Laboratory Information System, and billing for pathology services for research and clinical trials across the Liverpool, Campbelltown, Bankstown, Fairfield and Bowral region.
As a hobby, she enjoys mindful activities such as gardening and making rangolis as a creative outlet to prioritise her mental health. For future endeavours, Saradha is taking a course to become a certified mindfulness teacher in order to foster a peaceful work and home environment.
