Cain has been with NSW Health Pathology since 2019. He has proudly worked in NSW Health for nearly 20 years in clinical, operational and managerial roles, including in various Clinical Governance roles across different Local Health Districts and Specialty Health Networks. Cain is a self-professed “quality tragic” who always strives to ensure patients, their families and carers, and our staff are at the core of everything we do.

Ensures responsible financial management of public funding; financial and management accounting; tax; revenue; billing; and private practice arrangements. Manages procurement, fleet management, business development and environmental initiatives to increase sustainability.
Our Strategic Leadership Team (SLT) enacts the strategy of NSW Health Pathology and directions of the NSW Health Pathology Board. Members ensure we deliver quality, human-centred pathology and forensic and analytical science services across NSW.
