Laboratory Manager - Anatomical Pathology and Electron Microscopy

Eora. Mr. Andrew Kennedy

Based at Con­cord Hos­pi­tal, Andrew Kennedy man­ages the Anatom­i­cal Pathol­o­gy Depart­ment which includes His­tol­ogy, Cytol­ogy and the State Wide Elec­tron Microscopy Refer­ral Service.

Andrew has over 35 years of expe­ri­ence in all tech­ni­cal and sci­en­tif­ic aspects of the depart­ment as well as exten­sive expe­ri­ence in man­age­ment and lead­er­ship. He is the Chair of the Anatom­i­cal Pathol­o­gy Clin­i­cal Stream Equip­ment Work­ing Group, a facil­i­ta­tor for the NSWHP Health Lead­er­ship Pro­gram and works with the Uni­ver­si­ty of Tech­nol­o­gy, Syd­ney, Pro­fes­sion­al Expe­ri­ence in Bio­med­ical Sci­ences pro­gram in the selec­tion and place­ment of can­di­dates for work experience.
