Director of Pre and Post Analytics
Awabakal.As Director, of Pre-& Post-Analytics for NSWHP, Judy leads a critical part of the organisation that provides consumers their first interface with NSWHP.This area is vital to the continuum of care of patients and consumers ensuring the collection, safe transport and processing of specimens ready for analysis. It also provides advice to the community about our services and questions about pathology.
Judy works closely with the pre analytical and operational teams looking for opportunities to improve and grow these services to the health community.
Judy has a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science and over 35-years of scientific and operational experience in pathology, a large proportion in management roles in Haematology and Core laboratories incorporating pre-analytics and collection services.
She holds positions on the NPACC Approved Pathology Collection Centres Drafting Committee and RCPA KIMMS Committee.
Judy is the chair of the Hunter based charity Stop Ovarian Cancer
