As Direc­tor, of Pre-& Post-Ana­lyt­ics for NSWHP, Judy leads a crit­i­cal part of the organ­i­sa­tion that pro­vides con­sumers their first inter­face with NSWHP.This area is vital to the con­tin­u­um of care of patients and con­sumers ensur­ing the col­lec­tion, safe trans­port and pro­cess­ing of spec­i­mens ready for analy­sis. It also pro­vides advice to the com­mu­ni­ty about our ser­vices and ques­tions about pathology.

Judy works close­ly with the pre ana­lyt­i­cal and oper­a­tional teams look­ing for oppor­tu­ni­ties to improve and grow these ser­vices to the health community.

Judy has a Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence in Med­ical Lab­o­ra­to­ry Sci­ence and over 35-years of sci­en­tif­ic and oper­a­tional expe­ri­ence in pathol­o­gy, a large pro­por­tion in man­age­ment roles in Haema­tol­ogy and Core lab­o­ra­to­ries incor­po­rat­ing pre-ana­lyt­ics and col­lec­tion services.

She holds posi­tions on the NPACC Approved Pathol­o­gy Col­lec­tion Cen­tres Draft­ing Com­mit­tee and RCPA KIMMS Committee.
