Greg has been work­ing in pathol­o­gy for over 30 years, in both pri­vate and pub­lic set­tings, and is based at NSW Health Pathology’s John Hunter Laboratory.

He works close­ly with the Oper­a­tions Man­agers, Local Pathol­o­gy Direc­tors and LHD staff to ensure high-qual­i­ty pathol­o­gy ser­vices are deliv­ered to the clin­i­cians and patients across the region.
Greg’s pre­vi­ous roles include Trans­fu­sion Lab­o­ra­to­ry Man­ag­er, Haema­tol­ogy Depart­ment Man­ag­er, Work­flow Man­ag­er and Act­ing Oper­a­tions Man­ag­er – Hunter and Act­ing Oper­a­tions Man­ag­er – Cen­tral Coast.

Greg has been a mem­ber of the NSW Health Pathol­o­gy Trans­fu­sion Clin­i­cal Stream since its incep­tion in 2012, an ANZSBT Coun­cil Mem­ber (2015–2021) and ANZSBT Trans­fu­sion Sci­en­tif­ic Stand­ing Com­mit­tee member.

Greg is cur­rent­ly the Chair­per­son for the NSWHP – North Trans­fu­sion Divi­sion­al Advi­so­ry Com­mit­tee, focussing on stan­dard­i­s­a­tion of doc­u­men­ta­tion and process­es, as well as min­imis­ing wastage of blood products.
