Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Darren reports to the Director of Clinical Operations and leads a team of Directors of Operations (covering Metropolitan and Regional) and Senior Operations Managers.
Together with the Local Pathology Directors, they are responsible for the operations of NSW Health Pathology laboratories and collection centres throughout NSW.
Darren works closely with local laboratory management and NSW Health Pathology’s corporate services in aligning organisational goals with local operations to deliver services to meet the needs of our clients and customers. With over 25 years’ experience in health management, Darren brings a sound knowledge and deep understanding of managing operations within a healthcare setting.
Prior to joining NSW Health Pathology, Darren held senior management roles at Hunter New England Health Imaging.
