Eva leads the bioin­for­mat­ics team at NSW Health Pathology’s Statewide Genomics. She is respon­si­ble for devel­op­ing effi­cient, scal­able analy­sis work­flows need­ed to process large amounts of genom­ic data for clin­i­cal diag­nos­tics and pop­u­la­tion genom­ic screening.

Eva has over 20 years of bioin­for­mat­ics expe­ri­ence span­ning can­cer genomics, agri­cul­ture, and human migra­tion, in both the USA and Aus­tralia. Eva under­stands the com­plex­i­ty of “big data” and the added chal­lenges of reg­u­la­to­ry com­pli­ance. She is pas­sion­ate about bring­ing genomics into rou­tine healthcare.
