Tim Eck­er­s­ley, Enter­prise Archi­tect with our DevOps team, is an inno­v­a­tive and col­lab­o­ra­tive leader who leads by exam­ple and is well respect­ed by every­one he works with.

Tim con­stant­ly strives to build great work­ing rela­tion­ships with busi­ness part­ners and find new ways of work­ing and shar­ing knowl­edge and expe­ri­ence. This ranges from lessons learnt with Mule­Soft inte­gra­tion and the new Health Inter­op­er­abil­i­ty Toolk­it, to work­ing with Ser­vice NSW and FUSION lead­er­ship to deliv­er strate­gic pro­grams of work such as COVID-19 response and Statewide LIMS procurement.

Tim is at the fore­front of ICT, keep­ing up with IT trends to fos­ter new ways of think­ing in an ever-mov­ing land­scape. He focus­es on con­tin­u­ous­ly improv­ing NSWH­P’s ser­vice offer­ing and devel­op­ing next-gen­er­a­tion capa­bil­i­ties that will deliv­er val­ue for years to come.

Tim’s exper­tise in man­ag­ing trans­for­ma­tion­al change across the enter­prise is felt in all projects and func­tion­al areas. His engage­ment with stake­hold­ers and abil­i­ty to retain infor­ma­tion from work­shops means he is an author­i­ty for the DevOps team to rely on for most queries. When cou­pled with his com­pre­hen­sive busi­ness knowl­edge and pre­vi­ous expe­ri­ence deliv­er­ing large projects, he can see and resolve prob­lems long before they arise, sav­ing sig­nif­i­cant amounts of the team’s time.

Tim is a strong believ­er in con­tin­u­ous improve­ment – in both tech­ni­cal projects and deliv­ery, as well as per­son­al devel­op­ment and growth. He active­ly encour­ages his team to par­tic­i­pate in work­shops and con­fer­ences to upskill in new areas. He also gives his team oppor­tu­ni­ties to lead projects, giv­ing them room to dis­cov­er and grow but always there to pro­vide sup­port and guidance.
