René started his career in pathology as a collector and within three years transitioned into the role of a courier driver. His colleagues said that it was here that René was able to capture the hearts of everyone he met.
With 19 years of service at NSW Health Pathology, René has shown remarkable loyalty and dedication to his profession. His extensive experience and knowledge have undoubtedly contributed to the efficiency and effectiveness of his work, benefitting both colleagues and patients.
René has been known to consistently support his co-workers. He has worked closely with various team members, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.
His colleagues have said “he loves his colleagues and loves to talk to everyone he meets along his journey. There is not a day that goes by where René is not making a joke and making someone laugh. It is very noticeable when Rene has a day off work; it is not quite the same without him”.
