Lisa Gonzalez is currently the Scientific Skills Development Coordinator responsible for designing and implementing the new Graduate Program. Lisa has 30 years of experience in pathology and holds a BSc and a MSc in Medical Microbiology from UTS. Previously, she worked as a Hospital Scientist at Liverpool Microbiology for 27 years. Her interests are in antibiotic stewardship, quality, and patient safety. Lisa is also a passionate workplace trainer and change agent.
Lisa has worked in many areas of the Microbiology laboratory. From 2020, she worked on the redevelopment project for the new Liverpool Pathology laboratory. This project sparked her keen interest in behavioural change and organisational culture. Her goal is to use her experience and new skills to facilitate the learning, development, and engagement of staff of NSW Health Pathology. Lisa’s projects require collaboration with people at all levels of the organisation and ensure our service is designed with humans at the center
