Mr Neil Catlett is responsible for our pathology services located in Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD, Mid North Coast LHD, Northern NSW LHD, Western NSW LHD, Hunter New England LHD, Murrumbidgee LHD, Far West LHD and Southern NSW LHD. Neil has a proven record in Australian and UK healthcare management, and brings experience outside the healthcare sector in both commercial organisations and not-for profit sector. Most recently, Neil has been NSW Health Pathology’s Director of Regional and Rural pathology operations, overseeing a network of 20 clinical sites supported by over 100 community centres. Neil started working in medical laboratories from school age as a technical assistant, rising within the UK National Health Service to lead pathology services in major London Teaching Hospitals before emigrating to Australia in 2010. He was initially appointed Director of Operations Pathology West and subsequently followed his passion in leading regional pathology services.
