Mr Neil Catlett is respon­si­ble for our pathol­o­gy ser­vices locat­ed in Illawar­ra Shoal­haven LHD, Mid North Coast LHD, North­ern NSW LHD, West­ern NSW LHD, Hunter New Eng­land LHD, Mur­rumbidgee LHD, Far West LHD and South­ern NSW LHD. Neil has a proven record in Aus­tralian and UK health­care man­age­ment, and brings expe­ri­ence out­side the health­care sec­tor in both com­mer­cial organ­i­sa­tions and not-for prof­it sec­tor. Most recent­ly, Neil has been NSW Health Pathology’s Direc­tor of Region­al and Rur­al pathol­o­gy oper­a­tions, over­see­ing a net­work of 20 clin­i­cal sites sup­port­ed by over 100 com­mu­ni­ty cen­tres. Neil start­ed work­ing in med­ical lab­o­ra­to­ries from school age as a tech­ni­cal assis­tant, ris­ing with­in the UK Nation­al Health Ser­vice to lead pathol­o­gy ser­vices in major Lon­don Teach­ing Hos­pi­tals before emi­grat­ing to Aus­tralia in 2010. He was ini­tial­ly appoint­ed Direc­tor of Oper­a­tions Pathol­o­gy West and sub­se­quent­ly fol­lowed his pas­sion in lead­ing region­al pathol­o­gy services.
