Business Development Manager
Dharawal.John leads NSW Health Pathology’s business development function and is responsible for supporting the organisation to identify and pursue opportunities to grow the services provided to clients both in NSW Health as well as more broadly.
He works closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure NSW Health Pathology effectively develops both new and existing opportunities across our full suite of services, including collections, genomics, research, point-of-care testing, and the wide range of specialised testing & services that NSWHP provides.
John has worked in the public health sector in NSW and Victoria, and most recently in the role of Program Manager leading the introduction of NSW Health Pathology’s new Akuna statewide specimen tracking system.
Prior to his time with NSW Health Pathology, John held a number of commercial, transformation and operational roles in the private sector including roles in the retail, logistics and fast-moving consumer goods industries.

Ensures responsible financial management of public funding; financial and management accounting; tax; revenue; billing; and private practice arrangements. Manages procurement, fleet management, business development and environmental initiatives to increase sustainability.
