John leads NSW Health Pathol­o­gy’s busi­ness devel­op­ment func­tion and is respon­si­ble for sup­port­ing the organ­i­sa­tion to iden­ti­fy and pur­sue oppor­tu­ni­ties to grow the ser­vices pro­vid­ed to clients both in NSW Health as well as more broadly.

He works close­ly with stake­hold­ers across the organ­i­sa­tion to ensure NSW Health Pathol­o­gy effec­tive­ly devel­ops both new and exist­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties across our full suite of ser­vices, includ­ing col­lec­tions, genomics, research, point-of-care test­ing, and the wide range of spe­cialised test­ing & ser­vices that NSWHP provides.
John has worked in the pub­lic health sec­tor in NSW and Vic­to­ria, and most recent­ly in the role of Pro­gram Man­ag­er lead­ing the intro­duc­tion of NSW Health Pathol­o­gy’s new Aku­na statewide spec­i­men track­ing system.
Pri­or to his time with NSW Health Pathol­o­gy, John held a num­ber of com­mer­cial, trans­for­ma­tion and oper­a­tional roles in the pri­vate sec­tor includ­ing roles in the retail, logis­tics and fast-mov­ing con­sumer goods industries.
