As the Research Strat­e­gy Lead Dr Bente Talseth-Palmer leads the research strat­e­gy imple­men­ta­tion plan for NSW Health Pathol­o­gy. We want to be at the fore­front of new tests, new tech­nolo­gies and sci­en­tif­ic dis­cov­er­ies, and part­ner with our cus­tomer and com­mu­ni­ty to ensure we deliv­er out­comes that matters.
Dr Talseth-Palmer came to NSW Health Pathol­o­gy from acad­e­mia, where she held numer­ous local and inter­na­tion­al post­doc­tor­al posi­tions and she holds an hon­orary appoint­ment at the Uni­ver­si­ty of New­cas­tle. She has exten­sive research expe­ri­ence in inher­it­ed col­orec­tal can­cer genetics/genomics and have been involved in many inter­na­tion­al col­lab­o­ra­tive studies.
