Board Subcommittee Chair, Finance and Performance
Mr Roach is NSW Health Pathology’s Board Subcommittee Chair, Finance and Performance.
Prior to his retirement in 2018, he was part of the NSW Ministry of Health Executive Leadership team and at the forefront of managing the financial impact of organisational change, the establishment of organisational-wide financial systems and improving the financial stability of NSW Health. In 2012, Mr Roach was awarded the Public Service Medal for outstanding public service to public sector financial management and accountability in NSW.
In his 18 years with NSW Health, Mr Roach’s career has included: Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Secretary, Financial Services and Asset Management for NSW Health; Chief Executive of the former Health Support Services (now HealthShare NSW and eHealth NSW); Director, Financial and Corporate Services of the former South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service; and Director, Finance for NSW Health.
