We’re proud of our first Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan November 2020-2022.

It’s a significant milestone in our growth as a standalone statewide health service.

Our ‘RAP’ formalises our commitment to put Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at the centre of all we do and holds us to account to take meaningful action.

About our Reconciliation Action Plan

Our inaugural Innovate RAP was developed with and formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia. Its Chief Executive Officer Karen Mundine commended our plan and reminded us of the responsibilities and rewards it entails.

We want to build respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and achieve meaningful gains in closing the health and justice gaps for them.

Our RAP guides the diverse and inclusive culture that we’re creating and will help us achieve our reconciliation goals.

Our RAP means a lot to us

Meet some of our Aboriginal staff members who share what it means to them to work for an organisation committed to reconciliation.
The short film also looks to our future as a more diverse, inclusive and unified organisation.
