The new­ly launched NSW Health Pathol­o­gy web­site has trans­formed the way we engage with our staff, patients, cus­tomers and com­mu­ni­ty online.

The Web­site Project Team has trans­formed what was pre­vi­ous­ly a dat­ed site that no longer reflect­ed the needs of the com­mu­ni­ty, into an engag­ing, acces­si­ble and dynam­ic dig­i­tal platform.

A pio­neer­ing new approach to dig­i­tal engage­ment was at the fore­front of the project – design­ing the plat­form with peo­ple at the cen­tre and cast­ing a wider net than ever before. The team’s objec­tive was to cre­ate a web­site for the com­mu­ni­ty, with the community.

This project is far beyond just a web­site, it acts as a pri­ma­ry dig­i­tal engage­ment tool that bridges the gap between us and the com­mu­ni­ties we serve. It pro­vides oppor­tu­ni­ty to tell our sto­ries, bring­ing us out from behind the lab­o­ra­to­ry and col­lec­tion cen­tre doors and shines a light on who we are.
