Ingrid is Oper­a­tions Man­ag­er for NSWHP St George and Suther­land. Ingrid com­menced her career as a Trainee Hos­pi­tal Sci­en­tist in 1979 at Bankstown Hos­pi­tal rotat­ing through all depart­ments. Always look­ing for new chal­lenges and a diver­si­fied career in pathol­o­gy, Ingrid has worked as a med­ical sci­en­tist with­in the pub­lic and pri­vate sec­tor in all dis­ci­plines (pre­dom­i­nant­ly chem­i­cal pathol­o­gy), at NATA and as a Qual­i­ty Man­ag­er before chang­ing direc­tion into lab­o­ra­to­ry oper­a­tions. Ingrid also con­tin­ued stud­ies in Health Man­age­ment to sup­port her role in lab­o­ra­to­ry oper­a­tions and was award­ed a Mas­ter in Health Man­age­ment from UNSW in 2018. Ingrid attests to “You’re nev­er too old to learn unless you think you know everything.”
