Director, Strategy and Transformation
He/him. Cammeraygal.Martin Canova was appointed Director, Strategy and Transformation in 2020, to set the strategic direction of the organisation and transform the delivery of services across the state.
Martin’s role is to lead strategic planning and capital infrastructure redevelopment, performance and business intelligence teams and asset management. Martin is also responsible for management of the organisation’s Statewide Point of Care Testing and Genomics services, and oversees the organisation’s six Clinical Streams.
Martin leads NSW Health Pathology’s innovation and transformation program which includes management of the Program Services, Change Management, Redesign and operational implementation.
Martin has more than 20 years’ health experience as a clinician, healthcare consultant and health manager in both government and private organisations in Australia, the Middle East and South-East Asia.
Before joining NSW Health Pathology, Martin was Director of Transformation at Transport for NSW.
