Jacob has worked with NSW Health Pathology since 2017. He is currently a Coordinator with the Point of Care team and oversees 16 healthcare facilities across North and East Metropolitan Sydney. He works closely with clinical and laboratory staff to ensure quality compliance and the ongoing support of PoCT services.
Prior to this role, Jacob worked as a Hospital Scientist in the Microbiology & Infectious Diseases department at Concord Hospital.
Jacob is very passionate about data analytics and business intelligence reporting to improve the healthcare of our patients. He is currently involved in several projects developing BI tools to assist with continuing quality improvement, performance reporting and issue monitoring.

Our chemical pathologists analyse chemicals in our body fluids and tissues to help diagnose and manage disease. They play a unique dual role of doctor-scientist, looking at changes in human body chemistry for screening, diagnosis, prognosis and management.
Our microbiologists and virologists are critical to NSW public health and emergency responses to pathogen-borne disease, and their expertise is recognised world-wide.
