Our chemical pathologists analyse chemicals in our body fluids and tissues to help diagnose and manage disease. They play a unique dual role of doctor-scientist, looking at changes in human body chemistry for screening, diagnosis, prognosis and management.
Vicki worked in pathology for 42 years and started off as a Technical officer in the Immunopathology Radioimmunoassay laboratory which morphed into the Endocrinology Laboratory. Vicki did her PHD in endocrinology which gave her the opportunity to do work in multiple disciplines such as EM, IHC, Chemistry and Flow. Vicki is the Operations manager for ICPMR Westmead, Blacktown, Auburn and Mt Druitt laboratories in WSLHD.
