Board Member
Gweagal, Dharawal.Associate Professor Jason Ardler is a Yuin man from the NSW South Coast and is Associate Dean, Indigenous Strategy and Services, Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney.
In 2020, he co-founded Thirriwirri, a consultancy firm that supports First Nations’ communities and their partners to build the confidence, capabilities and connections to work differently together and achieve tangible improvements in their lives.
For over 20 years A/Prof Ardler held senior executive roles in the NSW public sector, leading Government strategy and reform in Aboriginal economic participation, community governance, land rights, culture and heritage and service accountability.
In 2018, A/Prof Ardler received the Public Service Medal (PSM) for outstanding public service, and in 2019 was made a Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand School of Government. He was recently appointed Chair of the National Indigenous Australians Agency’s Indigenous Evaluation Committee.

Our Strategic Leadership Team (SLT) enacts the strategy of NSW Health Pathology and directions of the NSW Health Pathology Board. Members ensure we deliver quality, human-centred pathology and forensic and analytical science services across NSW.
Sets strategic direction and drives service transformation to meet the evolving needs of patients and partners in healthcare. Responsible for planning, performance and innovation, and operational management of genomics, point of care testing and six clinical streams.
